Lauren Scott is an appellate prosecutor with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. She has been with the District Attorney's Office for over 15 years.
Before practicing law in San Antonio, she earned her B.A. in English from St. Edward’s University in Austin and her J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio.
She is a member of the Texas Prosecutors Society and a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. She also currently serves on the prosecutor training committee for the Texas District and County Attorneys Association.

This is a panel discussion between the law enforcement investigators from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and attorneys with the Bexar District Attorney’s Office who were assigned to the homicide investigation of Andreen McDonald. The presentation will cover the case from the initial CID response through the trial, addressing important topics such as a multi-agency response to a homicide investigation as well as the successes and pitfalls of the trial.
