2026 SEHIA ANATOMY OF A HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION REGISTRATION

TRAINING INCLUDES: 

Two Case Presentations: 1) BTK Case Study: Investigation to Conviction and 2) Staged Homicide. In addition, other topics pertinent to homicide investigations will be presented throughout the 3-day training. The training is presented by SEHIA and jointly hosted by the Johnson County (KS) District Attorney's Office and SEHIA.

• Connectivity to other law enforcement agency personnel to assist with intrastate and interstate investigations.
• Learn about updated and current investigation technology.
•  Each Attendee will walk away with numerous resources provided during the training and some extra resources, provided to each paid attendee via a USB drive.

REGISTRATION: $300.00/person

DISCOUNTS: Note that discounts are not available for multiple registrations from one agency or multiple connected agencies. 

PAYMENT: Payment for registration can be made by:

1. Credit or debit card via PayPal through the Jotform registration; 
2. Check - all checks are due before 4/1/2026; 
3. Square invoice with a debit or credit card; or 
4. ACH (ACH and CHECK payment options will receive a Square invoice sent to the individual responsible for payment, so please remind them to check their spam folder) - due by 4/1/2026.

ONSITE REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN: Available at the training location on April 13, 2026 from 08:00-08:45 AM. 

HOTEL INFORMATION: SEHIA is currently working with local hotels to get a block of rooms. Check back soon and watch SEHIA social media as updates are posted.

We will respond as soon as possible. Please note that this is a volunteer Board, and all currently have full-time jobs. We will respond as soon as we can.

CANCELLATION NOTICE: All requests for refunds due to cancellation must be emailed to conference@sehia.org. 

• Registrants who cancel before March 1, 2026, may receive a PARTIAL REFUND of the registration fee, minus any credit card/check/ACH processing fees and a 20% administrative fee. 
• NO REFUNDS will be granted for cancellations after MARCH 1, 2026. This training is an excellent opportunity for homicide investigators and other homicide professionals to gather and learn.
